In the early part of 2020, before the grips of Covid 19 took hold of the country, Greta Thulberg visited Bristol bringing tens of thousands of protestors with her. The day was bleak and the sky’s dark grey with clouds intent of delivering a deluge. Whilst the crowds grew the sky’s grew darker eventually all the rain that the world could muster was delivered onto us from above. 

As the march moved from College Green slowly through Bristol’s city centre the police presence became overwhelming. Trying to do my job became a battle of walking backwards and try to get a glancing images through the walls of police bodies.
