This body of work examines the refugee situation which continues in Northern France. Hundreds of refugees brave the weather, cruel policing and terrible living conditions with the hope of making the seemingly impossible journey to the UK. The destruction of the 'Jungle' at Calais has caused the spread of migrants across the area in to small temporary camps, although no longer in the news, the situation is much worse than it has ever been. The work exhibitted is taken from two trips made with the charity Care4Calais in 2018.
